Ā
Golden Greens Biofibre Organic Prebiotic Inulin is made with 100% organic agave inulin sourced from Mexico. Agave inulin is both lower in dietary sugars and higher in dietary fibre than chicory inulin.
Inulin is an excellent source of dietary fibre, which feeds the good bacteria in your gut, encouraging them to repopulate and thrive.
Inulin is often used as a sugar substitute. You can add it to hot drinks, cereal, or home cooking.
Golden Greens Biofibre Organic Prebiotic Inulin comes in foil-lined and re-sealable packets to keep your inulin fresh. It's also certified organic by the Organic Food Federation.
This product is suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
hat is Inulin?
Organic Inulin is a special type of solubledietary fibre, that our body doesn't digest.
āInulin is a prebiotic that can help develop a microbiome and provide fuel for good bacteria to live in your gut. Eating inulin-rich foods can help your bacteria perform activities that keep your gut healthy.ā -Dr Michael Mosley.
How do i use it?
We recommend taking 1 tsp (5g) per day, in a glass of water or milk.
It dissolves in liquid and can be added to most foods, including tea or coffee, as well as stirring into breakfast cereals.Ā
For sleep, try taking 1 tsp in water or hot milk about 90 mins before bed.Ā
If you've not used inulin before then we recommend starting off gradually:
Start with 1/4 tsp for 4 days, and increasing by 1/4 tsp every 4 days until you're taking 1tsp. This gives your digestive system time to get used to the extra soluble fibre.Ā
We also recommend drinking more water throughout the day.Ā
